Organization

Salinas Storm is a part of Salinas Girls Fastpitch, Inc., a non-profit organization located in Salinas, California. Storm is made up of six teams competing in local and national tournaments in the following associations: Amateur Softball Association (ASA), Triple Crown and United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA). The six teams are made up of 10 & Under, 12 & Under (2), 14 & Under, 16 & Under, and 18 & Under.

The Salinas Storm organization has a strong track record of identifying and developing talented young softball players. That experience has led to several of their teams competing very well at the national level, with a number of those young women going on to continue their softball careers in college.

The Salinas Girls Fastpitch Inc. also manages the Salinas Sports Complex-Softball/Baseball Facility. The facility hosts approximately 30 tournaments a year. Also, we have started construction on a 15,000 square foot indoor practice facility which includes batting cages, office space, full concession area and storage.
