Salinas Storm Salter competed well in the Triple Crown World Series July 10-17 in San  Diego. From the very first game the team showed that they were ready to take on anyone. They finished pool play 3-0-1 and took the 1 seed going into the Gold Bracket which was made up of many PGF qualified teams. The girls came up against a very talented Firecrackers team for their first bracket game and lost 7-1. They were able to bounce back the next day and defeat the SoCal Athletics 10-2. Unfortunately, they came up short the very next game against a very competitive Locomotion team. The teams went back and forth making great defensive plays until Locomotion finally took the lead. The loss against locomotion eliminated them from the World Series, ending their week 4-2-1.

Each and every one of the girls made huge contributions throughout the week to  give them a good run.
The coaches are proud of the progress and experience this young Storm team gained this year and are looking forward to building on their successes.
