12U Salter has started their spring  season as a force to be reckoned with.  On February 15-16 they traveled down south to  West Covina, Ca. where they participated in the Corona Angels "Presidents Day Cup".  They faced off against some very competitive teams and were able to defeat the Corona Angels, Arizona Wildcats, Athletics- Mercado, and Ohana Tigers-Hernandez.  They finally met their match when they played the Explosion-Wren,  the teams were pretty evenly matched then entire game, however Explosion defeated Storm  by one run.  Salter left the weekend with a record of 4-1 and a competitive start.

For their next tournament 12U-Salter was  on their home turf for the 'Coastal Cup" in Salinas, Ca. The team went undefeated all day Saturday.  On Sunday they  battled their way to the championship game, facing  off against well know competitor California Grapettes . When these two meet it is always a good game.  Falling a little short this time against the Grapettes, 12U Salter ended the tournament with their heads high and a 2nd place finish. Congratulations players and coaches and keep up the good work.
