This Fall 12U Salter stepped up into their 1st season at the 12U level. Playing their first tournament two week prior in the "Swinging For A Cure" tournament, they were able to test the waters at the new age group and prepare for their upcoming tournaments. This past weekend they played in the 'Pink Panther" tournament and after two weeks of hard work, dedication, and sweat they came out ready.
Out of the gate with their bats on FIRE, coupled with their pitchers focus and determination to get the job done they collected win after win. The coaches were very impressed to see how fast this team has grown in a short amount of time and the ability for them to come together as a tight nit team.
They played amazing this weekend making it to the Championship game where they faced off with Alameda Blaze. Storm put up a good fight but in the end were not able to pull off the W. It was a great weekend for 10U Salter with a final record of 5-2.
We are all very excited to watch this team develop. Excellent job coaches and a shout out to Coach Pain (strength and conditioning coach) for torturing the girls and developing the the stamina they need to push through a 7 game weekend.
